MQ31 Power Analyser for a wide range of Electrical Parameters
The MQ31 three-phase power quality analyser, when externally connected to either an open-type Rogowski coil or a voltage-type CT, enables wire-free testing without the need for disassembly. This simplifies testing procedures, reduces construction costs, and enhances convenience for engineering tests, as well as for inspection and maintenance of distribution systems.
The MQ31 supports both single-phase and three-phase systems and is capable of measuring a wide range of electrical parameters—including current, voltage, power factor, harmonics, active power, and electric energy—across phase A, B, C, and the Neutral phase of the power grid.
Equipped with a standard RJ45 interface (with optional RS485 communication interface customization), the device supports standard Modbus TCP protocol (or Modbus RTU as an alternative). This ensures compatibility with various configuration systems and allows real-time transmission of front-end collected electrical parameters to the system data center.
NOTE: The main feature difference between the MQ31 and MI550 is that the MQ31 has extra temperature indications. As it is in Kit form, it is quite expensive. Hence, we recommend it only for high specialised temperature indication works.
