ME435 Power Meter

The ME435 Power Meter is a versatile handheld device used for measuring and analyzing electrical parameters in various applications, with its primary focus on power analysis and energy metering.

Overall, the ME435 Power Meter is a valuable tool for professionals in the field of electrical engineering and power analysis, offering a wide range of measurement capabilities, data visualization, and the ability to assess power quality and energy consumption.

The key difference between the ME435 and the ME440 model is that the ME435 does not measure the neutral wire.

Here are some key characteristics and features of the ME435 Power Meter:

 Measurement Capabilities:

Current: It measures current values individually for each phase, as well as for the neutral wire, and provides an average current value for the three phases.

Voltage: Measures voltage values for line-to-line (L-L) and line-to-neutral (L-N) configurations, and also provides an average voltage value for the three phases.

Frequency: Measures the frequency of the electrical signal within the range of 45 to 65 Hz.

Active Power: Calculates both total active power and active power for each phase (signed values).

Reactive Power: Calculates both total reactive power and reactive power for each phase (signed values).

Apparent Power: Calculates both total apparent power and apparent power for each phase (signed values).

Power Factor (True): Provides power factor values for both total power and power factor for each individual phase, ranging from 0.000 to 1 (signed values).

Current Unbalance: Measures current unbalance for each phase and reports the most unbalanced phase among the three.

Voltage Unbalance: Measures voltage unbalance for the three phases and reports the most unbalanced phase.

Real-Time Monitoring: The ME435 Power Meter provides real-time measurements, allowing users to monitor electrical parameters continuously.

Harmonic Analysis: It can analyze harmonics up to the 52nd order, which is useful for assessing the quality of the electrical signal.

Minimum/Maximum Value Tracking: The device can save minimum and maximum values in its nonvolatile memory when any one-second real-time reading reaches its highest or lowest value. This feature enables users to track extreme values for analysis.

Display: The device features a 3.5-inch TFT screen display, offering a clear and user-friendly interface for visualizing data.

Sampling Rate: It has a high sampling rate of 8,000 samples per second, ensuring accurate data capture.

Mechanical Characteristics: The ME435 Power Meter is lightweight, weighing approximately 350 grams, making it portable and easy to use in the field.

Poles Description: The device supports various electrical configurations, including 3-phase 4-wire (3PH4W), 3-phase 3-wire (3PH3W), single-phase 2-wire (1PH2W) for both line to neutral and line to line, and single-phase 3-wire (1PH3W) for both line to line and line to neutral.
